This next step is not necessary but you can do it if you want to save the cut file to your library. Click on the graphic and slide it away from the cut file red lines. Click it and then delete the image away. Click Vinyl or whatever medium you are using. Be sure to adjust your cut settings for each. These are the ones I use and have worked well for me for vinyl. Who knew? But now that I do, like I said, game changer.

It comes with some really great things for beginners. Definitely worth looking into. So, if you love to create lots of signs or just anything that would require hand painting, you should really consider getting a Silhouette Cameo. If you are just the every now and then lettering crafter, you might not want to get a Cameo just now.

A SVG file, short for scalable vector graphic, can be resized large or small without losing quality. I love SVG files because they can be used with almost every cutting software. Many designers including me will often give away free SVG files. But, you need to have the Designer Edition of Silhouette Studio to be able to use these files.

When you download cut files online, they usually come in a zipped folder and need to be extracted before you can use the files. To extract, double-click the folder and then choose extract all. Now, you are ready to open the files in Silhouette Studio. All products are digital and will be available to download from your My Account page immediately after checkout.
